Live view very laggy!! Recorded video not playing! Arlo q plus!

I just got an arlo q plus setup was easy, but there's a few issues with it. First the live view is very laggy it might be because I have it connected on wifi, but it shouldn't be this laggy "3 or 4" second lag. The other issue I have is that none of my recordings play back. It just shows stills and yes I checked if was recording video or just taking stills. I'm kind of disappointed, I really wanted this camera to work

Yes, there is a lag.... all video goes from the camera to the far server and then back to you. It isn't direct view camera   Your lag is just about normal.

As to playback,  start a MANUAL record and test that in playback... If it doesn't play the answer could be as easy as trying a different browser to view.

( usu flash problems )

Also, download the video and then try the playback on the local system

( PS what is your data thru put speed if you know ? )

That is a normal reaction in most live view cameras. There is not much that can be done to speed it up. If it if very troublesome you could try capturing your video at a lower resolution to see if that helps at all.
