Arlo q Plus wifi lag

I have my q plus powered off of POE and using wireless to transmit video.

I have noticed a severe lag which pretty much makes the 2 way mic useless..

Would hardwire ethernet to router eliminate this?

Not sure.... but, WIRED is always faster than WIRELESS. I get a few sec delay via wireless but will have to retest as I just updated my router and now have a full strength signal ( use to be 1 to 2 bars at diff times of day ).

It may not all be on our end.

Since you already have the cable in place, not a hard thing to try ?

As a PS... I just tested again my audio in my Q to see the current lag.... better connection has shortened the time.

My lag is not bad at all... On a 1-5 count ( out loud ) , I can hear myself coming out of the Q camera on # 2-3, so I would estimate about only 1 second +

Are you using 5ghz wireless connection over 2.4ghz for your camera?
