This must be a bug, i have a arlo q plus which i have installed upside down so i set the video setting to invert then use that motion zone in my mode setup to so as i can get alerts when there is moevment detected in that motion zone however i can stand & do a dance in my motion zone & i don't get an alert, i do get an alert when i stand & do a dance in the location where the motion zone would be if the video wasn't inverted.
I tested this thoroughly & it has caused me hours of time wasting.
I even tried resting that camer back to factory settings & setting it up all over again, same issue.
I am configuring everything through the arlo website on Chrome browser for PC, my camera has the below specs/firmware.
The current work around is to keep this in mind when setting your zone before you invert your image. It took me a few tries to get an accurate zone knowing it would not be inverted along with the image. Almost seems like the zone setting is based on hardware on the image sensor and image rotation is done via software after the image has been captured.
Please help?
