"Checking for firmware update failed" error. How to overcome this problem?

I'm installing a new Arlo Pro system, and the app is trying to update the firmware but it fails continuously. I must have tried 20 times already but it says: "Checking for firmware update failed. The server is taking too long to respond. Please try again"

How can I overcome this problem?

I do not have a connection problem. I have a 1G plan and am watching hulu and working on my computer so I know the connection is working. Is there a problem in the server?

Solved. The 21st time I tried, the update worked

Yeah, I set up my new system yesterday as well and ran into the same issue. It finally connected after about 5 attempts. I think they were having issues on the backend infrastructure.
