Thursday the 12th, I chatted with support about my camera reporting that it could not charge the battery since I was not using the Netgear power supply...except I was. Support told me to take the camera down, remove the device, resync it with the base station.  That worked.  Today (Sat. the 14th), same problem. App reports charger cannot charge the battery. I do not want to get out a ladder and take the unit down for a reset (yes, I am using a Netgear power adapter) every two or three days)...and if I'm not at home, can't do that.  Bad camera, bad power supply or what? Waiting to do my Amazon review until this is resolved or not.

Is that with the VMA4700?

the base station is vmb4000.  without getting on a ladder I can't give you the camera, but it came with the base station.

He's asking about the model of the power supply, not the base or camera.

the power supply lists the following:

  1. p/n:332-10893-1
  2. type 107LF
  3. Model: AD2085320

There are a bunch of numbers under the bar code as well

CR-sound,

Try (temporarily) charging the camera inside with the included indoor power adapter (not the outdoor adapter), to further isolate the issue. Do you still see the same behavior?
