is Arlo Pro base station identical to Arlo Pro HD base station?

Hi,

I just picked up Arlo Pro Smart Security System  (VMS4330) that has three 720p Cameras and a Base Station. I am considring to build the entire system with adding additional 1080p Arlo Pro HD cameras separately to it.  

Questions:

+ Are the Technical Specificiations of the Base Station that comes with Arlo Pro identical to the Arlo Pro HD Base Station?

+ Will I loose any functionality/features of Arlo Pro HD (or future versions of) camera if I use it with the Arlo Pro Base Station?

From testing both the Arlo Pro and the Arlo Pro2.. Both base station appear to be the same. 

Even the original gen 1 Arlo base will function fine using the newer cameras but you loose the siren and USB drive backup as they are physically on the two newer bases

So any camera can be used on any base
