Hi Folks, if you loose your Internet connection but have local back up will the cameras still record to the local storage. I know you will not be able to view remotely until the Internet is live again or you return home.

Yes.  That's the whole purpose of the local storage - record whether there's a network connection or not.  You just have to unmount the card in Settings and view on a computer.  You won't be able to view them any other way since it's not usable as a NAS (network attached storage).
