I just got an email from Arlo with an offer:
"By redeeming the special offer below, you will enjoy the benefits of Arlo Secure 5 and retain your current annual price of $149.99"
When I clicked on the link and logged in, it took me to a billing page that had no mention of $149.99 but wanted to charge me $215, the regular price. What's going on here?

I got the same email. Wasn't sure if it was legit or phishing.
The email itself is strange. I have to manually redeem the offer to maintain the current pricing. If I don't redeem it, then my price increases 44%? How's about you let me maintain the current level of functionality for the current amount or offer the increased functionality at the increased price?

Yes, it did seem a bit strange. As you point out, it didn't make it clear that you could get the increased functionality mentioned in the email for the promised lower price. Usually these kinds of offers are used as a way to get subscription fees a bit early for better cashflow. They forgo a little future revenue for a little current revenue.
It all smacks of an amateurish marketing team. My hope is that if we make a little noise here, we will get a new email in a week or so that says "Sorry about that. Here's the real deal." That would be fine with me. We all make mistakes.

On a whim, I just clicked again on the email link. The page it goes to has changed and seems to reflect the offer a bit better. I am going to give it a few more days to settle out and then decide whether I want to take advantage of their offer. Still, it's looking better.

I’ve decided I’m going with the eufy 3 pro it’s even better than Arlo it’s expensive but will pay for itself in the long run don’t have to worry about charging your cameras it has built in solar panels and the night vision is off the hook and I don’t have to pay for service
