The symptoms you describe could be due to environmental issues like poor signal strength or interference. You could also also be experiencing this due to slow internet speeds.

 

Who is your ISP and what are you download/upload speeds? Try (temporarily) relocating your camera close to the base station and test to see if you still experience the same issue.
