i have had no problems with my arlo for a year. Now for the past few months it will not hold a charge for more than a week. it used to be a few months before i had to charge it.  I tried lowering the sensitivity and picture quality. but no change. Husband is about ready to toss it.

This is a known issue. There are a couple dozens threads on this issue with 1500+ replies. Arlo is aware and is currently testing new firmware to hopefully solve the battery drain issue. There is nothing the end user can do to fix this issue.
