I just bought a wire free Arlo doorbell, do I have to pair it with the base for my cameras? Because when I go to settings I don't see the option to add anything 😒

No, by default it has to connect to WiFi if for no other reason than to get a firmware update that allows it to connect to your base. You don't use any settings, you use Add Device to start the process like any other camera.
