Will solar panel keep arlo on all the time?

I have a few arlo pro cameras and have notices there's a couple second delay from the time motion is detected and the camera starts to record. I assume this is the camera coming out of a sleep mode to save battery life.
My question is to anyone with the solar panels already. Have they noticed any drop in that lag time or is it the same?

The solar panel just keeps the battery topped off. No effect on response time.
Record lag tume is about 2-5 seconds.
