Will more than 5 record on free account??

I know the free service only allows 5 cameras. But is that only limited to 5 live streams simultaneously?? Will the system record from say 8 cameras though still?? What if I added a total of 8 cameras to the free service?? Hope I'm making sense. Thanks.

Only 5 cameras can stream at the same time per base ( no matter what level account )

The two items are not the same. @TomMac is correct about the Live Streaming, but you will still be limited to only 5 active cameras on the free basic plan. You will have to select which 5 cameras you wish to use.
