Why won't my battery charge?

More details would be useful. Are you using the Arlo/Netgear supply? What do you see? What have you tried?

if the batteries are drained to low, the adapter supplied may not charge... ( faq out fron arlo on this )

 

the answer is to plug in the ORIGINAL charger and wait , look to see if you get a lightning bolt ( charging ), if not , unplug and repeat 6x

(battery need a min amount of voltage before it will start charge, doing multi times provides this )

So my Arlo won’t recharge if I’m not using an Arlo plug? That makes no sense. I only had 2 plugs with 5 cameras. One plug won’t work which leaves me only 1 to charge all five!

The Arlo charger supplies both 5v and 9v outputs. Not all USB chargers do. 5v will run the camera but 9v is needed to charge.

 

Of course, something could be faulty so testing the charger on another camera is a good idea.
