Why are my cameras auto changing into night vision without detecting motion? Since the latest app update, my cameras are auto changing at night and then again in the morning. There is no indication that they are detecting motion. No notice in my feed. They are all at different locations around the outside of my house. But at the same time at night, they all change to night vision. This is new and disconcerting because when I glance quickly I assume they have changed because of motion detection. But that is not the case.

I have 5 Arlo Pro cameras and they all sync to night vision at the same time without detecting motion. In the morning, they all sync back to day vision without detecting motion.

This wasn't necessary and the cameras have self-corrected.

If you move one into a well-lit area as a test, does it still change (even though there is a lot of light).

If you’re able to see when the night LEDs activate at night do you get the camera poling by the base station just before it? The camera is polled twice daily.

Are you still experiencing these symptoms with your camera?

You will need to perform a reset of the camera by pulling the battery for 10sec then install the activity zones again.

No, they just changed and took a night-time shot without detecting motion. There was nothing in the feed indicating the cameras detected motion. Oddly, this strange behavior has corrected itself.

Thank you for your reply. I couldn't answer you sooner because the people in charge locked the thread and I couldn't answer anyone.

I don't understand what this means. It never did this before this latest update and I've had these cameras for several years.

Happily, this strange behavior has corrected itself and the cameras seem to be acting normal again. They are not changing automatically, so if they were ever supposed to do that, they didn't and now they aren't.

Thank you for your reply.

I am not having this problem any longer. I'm sorry I couldn't reply sooner. Someone locked this thread and I wasn't able to reply to anyone.
