VMB4000 constantly audio recording

Lately my outdoor cameras are constantly audio recording, even with the mic turn off. I'll get up in the mornings with 100+ recording. The system has been working great the last couple of years. This just started about a month ago. They are plugged in all the time, and I've reboot the base station several times. It says software is up to date.  Any idea how to fix this? Thank you in advance

You may need to reset the camera by pulling the battery and external power for 10sec.
