I have an older Arlo VMB4000 base station and 10 Arlo Pro cameras around the outside of my home.
What’s the next step to replace with 4k camera equipment and base system?

First, I would ask why you want to replace a working system. "If it ain't broke...".

Regardless, you would simply purchase whatever you need to replace the old system and set it up normally, duplicating what you already have. However, note that the new cameras require a subscription for cloud recordings (I suppose you already have one since you have 10 old cameras). You get trial subs for the cameras but you'll need to have a paid sub when those expire.

Hi jguerdat, I totally agree with your statement “if it ain’t broke…” and your advice. 🙂

My system is currently working just fine, I’m very happy with it - it’s just interesting after several years of having the existing system to consider newer higher resolution wider angle cameras with night vision in color and not black & white.

Thanks for your reply, I appreciate it.
