Unable to sync Arlo Pro Camera (VMC4030) - iPhone user

I'm unable to sync VMC4030 cameras to my Base Station (VMB4000r3). 
I tried both iPhone app and web version... somehow on an android device I was able to synced them...
During the syn process (which is pretty straight-forward) I get the lights on the camera and BS blik (like if they are being synced) but it doesn't finish the process on the app/web and never see the camera connected...

Have you reset your cameras? To do this, open it, remove the battery for a moment, and reinsert it. Do you see the LED change?

 

Is your mobile device connected to the router's Wi-Fi during this process? Do you see a message that your camera has been successfully found and installed?

 


¿Has reiniciado tus cámaras? Para ello, ábrela, quita la batería por un momento y vuelve a insertarla. ¿Ves que el LED cambia?

 

¿Tu dispositivo móvil está conectado al Wi-Fi del enrutador durante este proceso? ¿Ves un mensaje que indica que tu cámara se ha encontrado e instalado correctamente?

Hi Carlos, thanks for your message.

 

I tried what you mentioned.

The strange behaviour is that on my brother's account (US based) we were able to do the setup with the cameras (he was visiting me in Chile).

 

As I mentioned, during the pairing process, both the camera and the Base Station, blink showing the connection is being made. then the BS shows solid green light (camera connected).

 

It's so weird...

Can you confirm that you are trying to install the VMC4030 cameras? You can check the model name on the label inside the camera. 🙂

 

Also, check that the cameras are not still installed on your brother's account.
