Unable to get external Hard Drive to work. WD 2 terabit. Thumbdrive working fine 1 Terabit. Does Arlo not like something in the 2 t range?? Drive hust will not format using the Arlo format. When format on anotehr oc it formats fine but when I put it on arlo just will not store the data?? Any thoughts??

Hard drives may have compatibility issues. Thumb drives are highly recommended since they are small and much easier to install and remove. 16-32GB thumb drives are generally plenty sufficient. Use bigger or smaller according to your needs.

Format it to FAT32 on a computer first.

You can also format using the base's interface.  I recently put a thumb drive in a Pro base that had been formatted on a computer and it still wanted me to format it using the interface.  No idea why.
