Hello, I have beem unable to connect my brand new Base Station.

This is what I have done:

  1. Connect the Base Station to my Verizon router using an Ethernet cable.
  2. Plug the AC adapter into an electrical outlet Press the On-Off button on the back of the Base Station and wait until the Power and Internet icons are lit green (they are both green)
  3. Connected my laptop to the Verizon router using an Ethernet cable.

Nothing will happen

I have also tried to do a factory reset as follows:

Pushed the Reset and Sync button together for 10 seconds until all the LED lights blink amber

They didnt. Although I tried it several times, only one light would go amber

I have spent about 10 hours on it, so I am thinking about returning it to the store. I regret that my review will also show my experience with Arlo. However, prior to doing that, I would like to see what your response it

Thank you

The RESET procedure is to hold in the RESET ONLY for about 10 secs, the front leds will flash amber.

I may be missing something... If the first two LEDS on the left were green, you have power and internet. No need to reset

Next step is syncing cameras ( quick push on the base sync button )

the laptop access is by browser to https://arlo.netgear.com/

EHCCC,

What is indicating that there is an issue? As mentioned, a green power and internet LED on the base indicates you are ready to start setup. Are you getting an error message when attempting to complete the New System Setup? How far along are you getting before experiencing an issue?
