Upon installing the new software update, my cameras now open and run automatically. I go into each camera's setting and manually turn them off to save battery power. But every time I open the app, they have already automatically restarted and are on. What can be done to have my cameras left turned off when I turn them off?

This isn't something I do myself, so it's not something I"d run into.
Have you tried switching to DISARM mode instead of turning the cameras off in the settings? I believe that will give you similar power savings.
