System Offline for 20-30 minutes

I am very new here, so if this is a repost my apologies and just re-direct me. I did search the error on the forums and could not find a resolution to my issues.
A liitle concerning, but our system when offline while we are away right now. I have no way of checking the system, but I do know that our internet is working at the moment as I could logon to my desktop remotely. It was down for 20-30 minutes.
Is this normal? Is it a firmware update? System down? Does the base station provide a history log of events I can check? I am new to Arlo so any hand holding would be appreciated.

The only logs are held by Netgear. You would need to open a case with support here to see if they can tell you what happened
Can you restart the base in Settings, My Devices, your base? If it's offline, you may not see that option at the bottom of the page. Any chance there was a power outage? We know that can cause an issue with the base coming back online.

You may have lost internet connection and the base didnt come back up, try rebooting your base from the app by going to settings (the 3 stacked dots in the upper right hand) then go My Devices tap on you base and go to the bottom of the screen and hit restart, this will reboot your base.
