Should I go with a different platform, or buy some new batteries and replace cameras as needed.

I would like to hear from those who left Arlo and went to another platform, and what your experience were.

I have had Arlo for a few years now, and and have a mix of Ultra 3s and Pro 4s, 6 cameras in all. While they are not perfect, they meet my needs. It is getting to the point where the batteries are starting to go, and I am weighing my options. Should I go with a different platform, or buy some new batteries and replace cameras as needed.

Those who have left are probably no longer on this forum, as they've probably had enough 🤣

I've not left myself because I have too much of their equipment, but for me, it's not the same Arlo as a few years ago: the EOL policy, constant problems with the app and the cameras (missed events, partly recorded events, poor quality of recordings, especially at night etc.), price increases, restrictions on what you can do with the system (how much you can configure it), availability of replacement parts etc. make Arlo no longer an attractive choice for me at all. There's more competition out there than there was before, and some of it offers better value for money from what I've read. 

However, if you've been relatively happy with your Arlo system, then stick with it.
