Hi all,
We recently set up our Arlo Pro system in our office and we've given minimal access rights to employees to allow them to silence the alarm if sounded or switch modes to prevent the alarm from going off. I'm fearful that someone may set the "Disarmed" mode by accident. Is there a way to remove that mode from their permissions? Or remove it entirely? We always want motion detection recording.
Thanks!
Josh

not really... that's it
maybe not grant acess to important cameras
Friends without access rights can do the following:
- Play and view library content
- View live footage
- Zoom and drag video footage
- Control brightness
- Enter full-screen view
Friends who are granted access rights can do the following:
- Play and pause video footage
- Record video footage
- Mute the speaker
- Enter full-screen view
- View live footage
- Zoom and drag video footage
- Control brightness
- Access and change modes
- View motion detection statuses
- Manually record
- Take snapshots
- Favorite, share, download, and delete video footage
- Use a camera's microphone

Thanks Tom! If I only give them rights to the base station to silence the alarm, them setting that to "disarmed" will in turn prevent recording of any cameras attached, correct? Even if I dont give them access to those cameras?

Yes, your right....mode changes if allowed will cover all cams in the mode....
dont think there's much you can do.
