Recordings gone after one day

We have the basic set up which is supposed to hold recordings for 7 days.  We have had the system a week.  The recordings are gone after 24 hours.  Why are they not available for 7 days? Is there a setting I should change?

They should be there. The only way they'll disappear is if someone will access is deleting them. Have you tried looking in your library both through the app and the web browser interface?

also make sure you haven't set the filter ( funnel looking icon in library )

It may be that you're using the links from an email notification? If so, those links die after 24 hours. Use the library in the app or browser to verify the videos are still there.
