Just did the install last night. Pretty slick if you ask me.
Selling points for me was the 7days free cloud storage, and the wireless (battery) feature, although I'm fulling aware that comes with baggage of it's own (recharging, etc).
Question, if i'm running a camera plugged into AC outlet, and the power is pulled, or power goes out, does the battery kick in?
I didn't have a chance to test this out, I'm hoping one of you already know the answer... thanks in advance

Yes, the battery will take over on loss of power. Of course, the base is who issue. It's a good idea to use a UPS/battery backup for your modem, router and base so power outages don't affect the system.
