Question About Arlo Smart & Vehicle Detection Option

I purchased the smart arlo package for my camera facing my cars,
In the settings there are 4 selections of things to have recorded like animals,person,vehicles, and other motions.
I have shut the vehicle setting off but still records all that pass by, I’ve tried using the zone field but that doesn’t help focuse on althe spot or ignore areas... please help it drains the battery in 3/4 days bc how much traffic passes

Smart will always record. It's the servers that determine whether notifications are sent. It's a better solution to rotate the camera down so the street isn't in view.
