Phone Microphone

My micorphone does night light up to allow me to speak through my phone.  I can see it but doesn;t allow me to turn it on to use on phone.  I can use it on my laptop but I use the phone app more.  I looked up the softwhere version and it say 06-14-17.....how do I fix this?

You need to go into your phone's app settings to give the Arlo app permission to access the microphone

Already made sure that setting was on,  is there another setting that will make microphone work on iphone.   not an issue on computer

Try reinstalling the app. Be sure to approve a?l permissions.
