I just recharged my camera and updated the firmware. I noticed just before I charged the battery the image was overexposed. I thought it would correct itself after a full charge but no such luck. The camera is under an over hang and not pointed directly into the sun. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks.

It may be that there's a significant part of the image that's darker than where you're interested. Changing the position may help. Also, there's a brightness control to try. Use live view, click on the "sun" icon and adjust the brightness a bit at a time (there's 2 steps darker and brighter from the cneter position). Be sure to save the setting. You may need to refresh your view to see the change after saving. Don't go too far or you may not like nighttime brightness.
