Option to record is greyed out

My first two days having my Arlo camera, I was getting recordings when motion was detected. Then I stopped getting them so I went into routines. I started trying to add rules for each of the three routines, but the option to record is greyed out. The only thing I can get to work is "take a snapshot". I saw other people have been having this problem as far back as 2019. I tried using my desktop however that had no effect to whether I could record or not. If any of Arlo's techs see this could you please help? Or if any other customers see this and have had similar issues that they were able to resolve I would be very grateful for any help.

Are these Gen 2 cameras? (I'm asking because you posted in the Arlo Pro forum area)?

 

Can you make a manual recording while livestreaming the camera?

Is it in the low power mode?
