One of 2 cameras not recording

I bought a 2 camera Arlo Pro Set last night.   I can see both cameras, the live monitoring is working fine.   But only one of the two cameras is recording.   When I look in the library it's mostly footage from just one camera.  The one had a few short recordings when I first turned it on, but nothing since.  I just hit the recording but on that camera from the app to see if I can get it to recording manually.   But I want it to record via motion, like my other camera.  Any ideas?

verify the the ARMED setting is correct.

 

Arm the cameras, go to LIVE view, the running man over each camera should be BLACK.. ( armed )... if gray it will not record motion.

Also check you level of SENSE, you may hav to raise it

Can I have the motion on one camera and NOT on the other?      My one camera gets much more movement in front of it and I'm getting constant notices from it.  I'd like to turn it off on that camera and get it working on the other one.   I guess I could just switch the cameras,  but I'd like to learn to run it properly.

Yes. Read the FAQs here for full directions on creating custom modes to do what you need. The default Armed mode can't be configured this way but custom modes are fully configurable. Any camera without a rule is disarmed, thus off.
