No notifications to my Samsung phone

I have a Samsung s5. My iPad is getting notifications but my phone is not.  Have uninstalled etc numerous times.  Have installed an earlier version of the app.  Pretty sure all my phone settings are where they need to be - can anybody tell me how to get notifications? Without notifications the system is useless to me!

Have you gone into the NOTIFICATION settings of the app?   on Android, there are a number of sounds including none ... possible it is turned off ?

All notification 'buttons' are on for the aplication and the phone.

Uninstall the app. Restart your phone. Install the latest app from the Google Play Store. It definitely sounds like a permissions issue

Not sure it would help but restart the base, too.
