New To Arlo Pro, What is Wrong? Useless Night Pics

Hello. I just set up my cameras this week and am having a bit of trouble with them. During the day they have been fine, so far. However, at night they turn useless. Our weather has been cold but dry. The cameras are sitting out on a fenceline and do not have skins or anything on them. They are straight out of the box and mounted up. Can anyone tell me why my cameras seem to fade out and become useless at night? I have included a time lapse picture series for one of the cameras, but the others are all similar.

I don't know that anyone can see the picture in the above topic that I posted, so I'm going to try again...

I would contact Netgear with these... and see what they say.  Doesn't appear normal for the PRO cameras.

Tho there is a light in the background, it's far enough it shouldn't effect the camera

Mind that the IR illuminators ar good to 25 ft max but it should be clearer. (* saw pics fine in sidebar )

Here a pic of a PRO that I ve had for a while now... now there is no other lighting to interferee with iris, it's mounted 6ft high and the small stumb in center is 25+ ft

The house light is on in some of them, but during the 7am pic there isn't a single light in the house on. I have no close neighbors, so nothing from them either. I will send to Tech Support and see if they have an answer. I had just thought it was probably something common and someone might already know the answer. I do look forward to perhaps getting pics as clear as yours.

Yeah, tech support didn't seem to be much help. Turn the camera on, turn it off, put it in a dark room... just standard problem suggestions. My cameras can see in the dark just fine... at first. The picture above for 5pm is true dark. I live on acreage surrounded by forrest and have no close neighbors so there is no ambient light other than my own house. The 5pm through 7am pictures are all absolute true dark. There is a big difference between the pictures. All the other cameras are the same with the early night showing just fine and the quality getting continually worse as the night wears on. If it was a darkness issue than all darkness would be the same and shortly after dawn the cameras would be fine. They are not fine after dawn. The 8am and 10am pics are in full day light and yet both are blurry. It is almost like the camera is freezing over. Is that possible? I thought Arlo was weather proof?

well there is the posiblity of condensation on the lens which can cause a similar issue..

the only way to know would be to check and see, wipe off camera and take anoter snapshot.

Some have use products like rainx or so, but I would wait till you know for sure,

I agree with the condensation diagnosis. They look like mine with moisture on the lens.

What solution have you found for the condensation, please?

A downward tilt, perhaps a skin with a hood can help but not eliminate the problem. Preventing moisture on the lens is the solution but how to accomplish that without putting the camera inside the house or other conditioned enviroment will always be problematic. RainX or similar is likely to be your best bet to at least minimize the issue.
