New Arlo Pro system does not sync any of the four cameras..... returning to best buy....

I purchased the new Arlo Pro four camera with base station set last night at Best Buy.  I was so excited.  Started the install process as outlined.  None of the four cameras sync'd-- rapid fire amber light on all of them.  After going through all the troubleshooting recommendations online and checking the forum, still no luck.  I was on the phone with customer service for an hour and they basically walked me through all the same troubleshooting steps again. They told me the units must be defective and to return them to Best Buy.  I'm going to exchange for a new set at Best Buy and start over again  but I was curious if this has happened to anyone else?  And if it has, any recommendations before i try to set up the new system.

Just be sure to only briefly pressing the base sync button, don't hold it.
