Need help installing Arlo Q at sperate location from base station

I am having trouble getting a new Arlo Q camera to connect to a new WiFi location.  Do I need a base station?  I am trying to use the add a camera app for my exsisting   service but at a different location which has WiFi.

No you do not need a base unit...the Q connects to the home wifi directly

When doing the install , you need to be on the same network... this can be by phone or computer
