Motion detection issues

We have been having issues with the motion detection on both of our front cameras yet again. Both units are configured with the maximum sensitivity and yet we have a lot of situations that the Cameras are not activating and recording the important events. For example yesterday an amazon package was delivered and only one of the cameras activated right when the person left put drive way, this is completely pointless since we cannot see the person arriving or walking towards our front door. Why is this happening?
