Why does the motion detection settig go to 80 percent when I set it to some tnhing else the next day it is back to 80%.

Is it the next day or is it immediately? Are you remembering to save the change?

Yes

This been happening over the last month. I turn the mode to unarmed. My batteries are being used up.

Strange. What firmware versions are your base and cameras on?
