Can i add a arlo pro cam with sound to the standard arlo base?

yes.... audio will work fine

 

( no siren or local record as those are physically on the Pro base )

It looks like it is sinking ok but i am unable to see it on my viewer.

do you mean the camera is sliding down the base mount?

I think he means "syncing".

 

Try power cycling the base.
