Limit system updates during the daytime? Lights blinking scare my children

My young children are terrified of sleeping in their rooms because of the camera updates. Occasionally my cameras will be some sort of system updates. Even if the cameras are off (which i keep them set as in the kids rooms unless we have a sitter), during the updates they will flickering red and blue for about 5-10mins. If I log into my app, It says firmware update is happening. My question is, is there anyway to limit when these updates happen to daytime? Or give some sort of warning/countdown so I know it’s coming and came remove the camera from bedrooms. Or have It occur with the lights blinking?

Everytime It happens, my young children wake up terrified of the blinking light in their rooms. I quickly remove the camera but like last night, I spent the next 3hrs trying to get them back to sleep and not be scared. It’s very frustrating it’s always at night and they have to blink so much and so brightly.

You can't stop the updates and or the led flickering ...

You can put a piece of elec tape over the led to stop the light
