I am a new owner of an Arlo Pro system and looking at the solar panel option. I am aware that the outdoor power cable from Netgear was recalled, but that the solar panel with outdoor cable was not. How can the separate outdoor cable be recalled for letting water in, yet the panel on the solar charger doesn not have this affliction? I bet the connector is the same that goes into the camera, and if not why aren't they simply adapting the solar panel connector into a separate cable? Something doesn't seem right to me. The system itself has been near flawless in execution I'm glad to say.

Hi, the outdoor cable and the cable for the solar panel are not the same. They have a different design wherein the cable for the solar panel is much more secured that no water can go inside the panel and to the camera. Try to search on the website what does the solar panel cable looks like.
