Incorrect serial number

im trying to set up my system and its telling me they found my information but the problem is the serial number is wrong and i cant change it. if i cant figure this out realatively soon im gonna box it up and return it for something more user friendly. its actuall vmc4430 but that wasnt a option under model number

That's an unusual error.  What's the exact message?  Step us through how you're trying to proceed.

 

It may be useful to reset the base using the reset button until the LEDs flash amber.  Try again - any better?

 

Also, what LEDs are lit on the base and what color?
