Love the Arlo but have been very frustrated with the fact that neighborhood outdoor cats trigger every one of our cameras. I have Motion Sensitivity set to 50%, and it still detects cats / small animals.

Should I continue to lower the sensitivity? What is the negative impact of this against what I would call "real" motion.

Are there any other suggestions for solving this?

Our neighbors have 3 outdoor cats and we also get possums frequently. It's unacceptable to me that all of my alerts throughout the day are from animals. I guess I would expect the ability to regulate motion sensitivity based on the size of the object moving...

The only thing I can think of is to try to position the cameras a little higher where the animals are a little further away from the motion detectors. I wouldn't lower the sensitivity too low because, as you mentioned, you could miss important movement.
