Currently struggling to sync Arlo and Orbi.
Rephrasing this: struggling to sync two Netgear products. What an epic Fail

@epollux,

What exactly is the issue you are experiencing with the setup process?

Been running Orbi and Arlo for about a year without any compatibility issues. Your post does not give much information, and it is unclear what you mean by "syncing" Arlo with Orbi, but Arlo set up with Orbi router is like any other router. It is wired. Plug the Arlo base ethernet cable into an Orbi ethernet port (router or satelite). From the Orbi side, you will see Arlo as an attached wired device. On Arlo app or gui find your base and claim it, and then sync your cameras with the Arl base per set up instructions. Arlo will use the same 2.4GHz channel as your Orbi (or any other router) whether that is set to auto or fixed.

@epollux

Same here, I have my Orbi for about 6 to 8 months and am loving it. If this is a new installation, you may need to contact your isp for help to at least see if they can see the router.

I’ll check the 2.4ghz set up. This said paying a premium for Netgear products means I should not have to worry about features that are supposed to be abstracted.
