How to set camera to record longer video?

Can someone explain to me how to set camera to record longer video. It comes on only part time with motion and when it does record it only records very short time and stops even while motion is still happening. ??? Is there anyway to set camera to record longer or way to adjust when it comes on ?

Go to the MODE you are arming with and edit... under section of record video there are settings for time.

Uncheck record till motion stops and pick a fixed time ( 30 sec or so ) for the location
