Geofencing on Arlo app Android doesn't update when entering/leaving zone when receiving notification

I have geofencing set up on the new Arlo app for android and I receive push notifications whenever I enter or leave the zone, but the system mode doesn't update when entering or leaving the zone. I have a few custom modes set up and when I click on Mode at the top of the app, the mode that it says the system is currently in isn't the same mode that is set for Away Mode under geofencing settings. I don't know if the app is just displaying the wrong mode the system is currently in when I'm away or if geofencing isn't arming the system like it's supposed to. Has anybody else had this problem and if so, how did you fix it?
