My exterior Arlo pro camera no longer records video clips. I called an Arlo number and they instructed me that I need to buy a firmware package, a 1 year is $150 and an unlimited package is @250. I tried a manual firmware update for the camera and the base and it said "No updates available" Is this the only option to continue to record is to purchase these firmware packages? Thank you in advance.

You called a scam number as Arlo does not charge for Firmware updates. Use the support link at the bottom of this page or upper right of this page for the correct information. I have seen this before here.
