My VMC 4030 had gone dead - BUT appeared linked with 0% battery on it - and appeared "connected" to the WiFi - however no amount of rebooting or charging would fix this.

This Camera CANNOT be RESET but they can be removed from the base and resynced - that will clear the connection and you will NOT have to RESET the BASE which is much more work.

SOLUTION - this is a GHOST camera - was once linked - still appears linked

FIRSTLY CHARGE battery fully - the camera will show SOLID BLUE light when fully charged.

If it's NOT showing anything - you may have a DEAD Battery - check by using that battery in a different camera.

1. In your devices in arlo base - go to that specific camera and remove the device.

2. On your base station locate the sync button (it's on the top on Alro Pro base and a triangle on the side in aro base)

3. Re-sync the removed camera by pressing the base sync button and the camera sync button for 2 seconds (do not need to be done at the same exact moment) you will see base flashing a syncy light and the camera showing a pulsing blue light showing it's now connecting

You will then see the camera back in your devices list only its NOT a ghost camera anymore.
