Hi guys,
Does anybody have experience connecting an Arlo base to a mobile phone hotspot without resorting to using a 4G/LTE router? I tried the following but none of these alternative works:
1) I connected the RJ45 Ethernet cable from the Arlo base to my Phone USB C;
2) I connected the USB C on my phone to the USB A port located at the back of the base;
3) I tried with a classic Wi-Fi tethering connection, but there is no way to let the Arlo base a Wi-Fi signale form the phone
I know I could buy an additional 4G/LTE router with an ethernet port, but I would prefer to be able to use my phone.

The best bet is to use a WiFi extender. The extender would connect to your hotspot and the base would connect via Ethernet to the extender. That should work fine as long as there's nothing in the hotspot config that would block access from the base to the servers.
