I am learning about the Arlo Pro.  It appears that the battery lasts 4-6 months, is that correct?  Does that mean that every 4 months or so I have to get up on a ladder to remove the battery for charging?

Also, if the battery lasts that long, does that mean that it isn't running continuously, but only when there is movement?

Thanks.

I normally wouldn't say 4-6 months for the average user..more like 3+.

All based on the more you use it , the less the battery lasts ( tho I do have one now at 4 months with 34% battry left, but I only arm it, don't view it )

These are not 24/7 record cameras...they are "detect motion then record", time of recording is from 10 sec to 2 mins with a reset time beween files of 8-10 secs.

I have only installed mine for about 2 weeks and I am now down to 70%. Lol.

I use live view a lot, but just for a couple of minutes throughout the day. This probably kills the battery life faster.

My units records about 6 to 10 clips per night when I arm them. So really, ymmv...
