Cannot connect to app via wifi in version 2.6.1

My phone works perfectly fine - no other app issues.  However as of recently, I cannot login to Arlo App unless wifi is turned on.  It will not connect through my regular data. Only happens in Alro.  I have the latest version of the app and am on iphone XS.  I have rebooted and uninstalled and reinstalled the app. The erro mesage says "You are not connected to the internet.  Please check your connection".  I am connected.  I've tested this in numerous locations.

never mind....this was a user error 🙂  I didn't have the "data" turned on in the app settings.  all fixed
